A legitimate and complementary management team

The Aramis & Cie association, organizer of the famous Challenge, is taking a new step in its development by renewing its governance.

In keeping with the founding values of the event, this new team affirms a strengthened ambition: to extend the scope of the project to all fencers during the 2024-2028 Olympiad.

At the head of this governance are two key figures in the French fencing scene: Brigitte Saint-Bonnet and Jacky Fallut .

Their arrival combines federal expertise and knowledge of the field, reinforcing the association in its role as a springboard to the top level.

Together, they have already worked to initiate projects within the Lyonnais League: creation of the Lyon Training Centre, implementation of successful regional groupings…

It is no surprise that the Aramis Challenge has become a permanent fixture in Lyon.

Brigitte Saint-Bonnet, with her exemplary career, was deeply involved in the French Fencing Federation, even serving as its president from 2023 to 2024, on the eve of the Paris Olympic Games. President of the Lyon Fencing League for over a decade, she worked tirelessly for the development of clubs and young fencers in the region.

Jacky Fallut, founder of the Aramis Challenge , is the architect of its rise to prominence. A former assistant national coach for women's épée at INSEP (National Institute of Sport, Expertise and Performance), he also led the overhaul of the talent identification and development system for the French Fencing Federation (FFE). His experience guarantees the association's professionalism and high standards.

The Aramis Challenge: an essential detection tool

The Aramis Challenge has established itself as a benchmark for motivating young competitors and identifying future talent.

Renewed until 2028 under an agreement with the FFE, the event now plays a central role in the national talent identification strategy.

Its former winners regularly confirm their potential on the international stage, becoming examples of past successes from the Porthos Tournament , a one-touch event that reveals lucidity, speed and stress management — all qualities of the very highest level.

An Olympiad marked by openness and ambition

For the period 2024-2028, the association wishes to rely on this dual legitimacy: proven experience and a desire to be open to the international community.

"The Challenge must remain a springboard that puts young people in a high-level competitive condition, while developing their human skills," emphasizes Jacky Fallut .
“We must surprise the shooters every year, offer them a quality competition, but also a welcome they will not forget,” adds Brigitte Saint-Bonnet .

The international development of the Aramis Challenge requires strengthening exchanges with loyal European clubs (Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy) and increased mobilization of French regional committees.

A measured but assertive ambition

Building on solid foundations and an experienced team, Aramis & Cie is giving itself the means to consolidate a major event on the national and international calendar.

"As a catalyst for talent, the Aramis Challenge inspires, unites, and reveals."
